Eton College was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI as Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore, in Eton, Berkshire, England, and remains the largest boarding school in England. It has been described as the most famous public school in the world and as the chief nurse of England's statesmen, having educated twenty British prime ministers, including Boris Johnson and David Cameron, along with Princes William and Harry; almost all its pupils go on to university, roughly a third of them to Oxford or Cambridge.
