The Every Student Succeeds Act, signed 10 December 2015 as Public Law 114-95, reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and replaced No Child Left Behind. It kept annual federal testing requirements but returned accountability design to the states, replacing the adequate-yearly-progress regime with state systems built on multiple measures including proficiency, graduation rates and English-learner progress. It is the current federal K-12 accountability law in the United States.
